During the installation process, Mailbox Filter will automatically import your specified email program's address books into the Authorized list for you -- no manual entries required!

List of email programs supported for FULLY AUTOMATED address book import:

• Outlook Express
• Outlook
• Eudora
• Netscape
• AOL
• MSN
• Hotmail

NOTE: You can also import address books from other email programs not listed above using our file import wizard.

Now that your Authorized list has been created, Mailbox Filter "knows" the people you normally correspond with. Plus, you can automatically add or remove any new sender to Mailbox Filter's memory with a click of your mouse! No tedious cut and paste is ever needed.

Just as easily, you can EXPORT your Authorized list to another computer, another user Profile, or even to update your address book in your email program! All with a simple click.

Although not critical to the process of filtering your email, you may choose to use a Banned list -- a list of email addresses that you never want to see any mail from ever. If so, when anyone in the Banned list sends you an email, Mailbox Filter will immediately send it to the trash box.

Creating your custom Banned list is every bit as easy as creating your Authorized list. For instance, if you have a junk mail box in your existing email program filled with tons of spam you've received in the past, Mailbox Filter can go through all these emails and strip out only the email addresses, ignoring all the other text. Instant Banned list!

Got duplicates? Not a problem... Mailbox Filter will purge any duplicate addresses for you automatically.

Mailbox Filter supports a variety of lists for import, such as plain text files or CSV (comma separated values) files, which you can import directly into your Banned list (or Authorized list) at any time.

You can also automatically add or remove any new sender to your Banned list, and export your Banned list to another computer or user Profile within Mailbox Filter... All with a simple click! No cut and paste or typing is ever needed. Mailbox Filter does everything for you automatically.
